Что такое bvhacker?
bvhacker, launched in November 2006 by Dave Dub (please visit and donate!), began as a tool for converting BVH files for use in Second Life. Over time, it has evolved into a fast-loading tool designed for final preparation of BVH files before uploading. It excels in viewing, analyzing, converting, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning existing animation data but is not meant for creating animations from scratch.
Designed by animators for animators, bvhacker is widely used by businesses, educators, and hobbyists to speed up their animation workflows.
What You Can Do with bvhacker:
- Quickly prepare BVH files for Second Life upload
- Convert various BVH files to be compatible with Second Life
- Create smooth loops using the “Knit” function
- Adjust motion channels across all frames simultaneously
- Modify the skeletal structure
- Set a T-pose for the first frame with one keystroke
- Edit any BVH file properties
- Easily see arm alignment along specific axes
- Open and view many BVH file formats
What You Can’t Do with bvhacker:
- Create new animations or modify individual keyframes
- Fully retarget arm rotations when they exceed ±90° on the y-axis
For keyframe animation or advanced features, tools like Daz3D, Blender, or MotionBuilder are recommended.
Making Sex Animations with Bvhacker
To make animations with bvhacker, you begin by importing an existing BVH file, as the software focuses on refining and editing pre-made motion capture data. Once loaded, you can make adjustments to the animation’s motion channels, apply tweaks to the skeletal structure, and modify frame sequences. The “Knit” function is particularly useful for creating smooth, looped sequences, making it easier to create continuous animations. Additionally, bvhacker lets you edit BVH file properties quickly and fine-tune the animation. Although it doesn’t support keyframe creation from scratch, it is a powerful tool for finalizing animations before uploading them to platforms like Second Life.
T-Pose
The T-pose is essential when preparing animations for Second Life, as it defines the base position for character animations. In bvhacker, setting the T-pose is extremely easy—you can adjust the first frame to a perfect T-pose with just a single keystroke. This ensures the character’s arms are aligned correctly in relation to the torso, setting the foundation for smooth animations in 3D environments. By starting with a T-pose, you ensure the skeletal structure is ready for movement and minimize potential issues when the animation is applied to a character in Second Life.
